| To Our Out-of-Towners: Welcome to Los Angeles! There are many options for lodging while you are visiting LA. August is the busiest time for tourism in LA so rates are high near the beach. I am negotiating wedding blocks with a few hotels closer to Brentwood. The wedding is in the Malibu mountains which is about an 30 minute drive from Santa Monica and a 40 minute drive from Brentwood. We STRONGLY suggest taking a limo to the wedding or carpooling with a designated driver. The drive to Saddlerock Ranch has its rough spots (narrow, curvy roads) and we want to make sure that anyone driving off of the ranch after the wedding has been designated as a sober driver.
